The structure of "Yue X Yue Y" is common in Chinese sentences. Foreign students in theprimary stage also need to learn the structure of "Yue X Yue Y". First the article make a detailanalysis on the semantic types, syntactic function, constructional meaning of "Yue X Yue Y"then we summarized the type of errors which the students faced though the questionnaire survey.Finally, according to the types of errors, the reasons of error and causes, we put forward someteaching suggestions and strategies .So this paper is divided into five parts; the main contents areas follows:The first chapter is the introduction. This paper discussed the research on the sentence "YueX Yue Y" and the reasons of use; this paper selected the sentence "Yue X Yue Y", because wewant to provide the certain theory support and improve the teaching quality of "Yue X Yue Y"for the teachers teaching Chinese as a second language. We reviewed in detail on the semanticfeatures, semantic relations, syntactic types, syntactic function of the sentence and the syntacticalfunction of the word "Yue". So we found that there is one of the sentences which the currentresearches were limited to but there was no systematic research. In the paper“Yue X Yue Y”isthe research scope and considered "Yue Lai Yue Y" as the special form of "Yue X Yue Y".The second chapter is the types, functions and characteristics of "Yue X Yue Y". Accordingto the differences in X, Y word, the "Yue X Yue Y" is divided into six different semantic types“Yue Lai Yue Y" as "Yue X Yue Y" sentence variation, has three different types according tothe different Y; and discuss the syntactic function of "Yue X Yue Y" sentence." Yue X Yue Y"can be used as subject, predicate, object, attributive, adverbial, complement and other syntacticconstituents."Yue X" and "Yue Y" are use to be predicate, adverbial, complement and othersyntactic constituents respectively.The third chapter is the structural analysis of "Yue X Yue Y”sentence.It is considered as amarked construction from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. It means a sustained period oftime in the process of change with the adverb "Yue". The relationship between "Yue X Yue Y",constructional meaning and the vocabulary of X and Y is on three aspects, such as: theconstructional meaning integrate with the lexical meaning of X and Y, the constructional meaning give a new meaning of X and Y, the constructional meaning exclude the lexicalmeaning of X and Y.The fourth chapter is "Yue X Yue Y" patterns of testing and analysis of errors. Through thequestionnaire survey we found that students in the acquisition this sentence often arose with theerrors, such as order errors, the subject and the predicate position errors, semantic collocationerrors, lack of the subject and so on. Then we analyzed the main causes of errors from fouraspects of the transfer of the mother language, the interference of the target language, themisleading explanations and the avoidance strategy.The chapter five is aimed at "Yue X Yue Y" sentence of teaching advices. In the textbook weput the right order according to the different types of "Yue X Yue Y" sentence and we learned "Yue Lai Yue Y”sentence and learned the sentence Yue X Yue Y". We gave specific suggestionsfor teaching of each type of sentence in the class. We need exercises, static dynamic combinedtraining and the stage practice.
