The Sightsinging Music (music For Sight Singing) Research

Sight singing is an important part of Sight singing and ear trainingteaching ,which is the basic lesson of music. A normative , scientific, systemicexcellent textbook directly affect the achievement of teaching goals. From ourfounding to now ,we have published many high-level textbooks and have translatedand published some Europe and former soviet union textbooks. but, in all publishedand internal using materials, we can hardly see any present textbooks of Americaacademy .Basing on using good method from foreign countries, from old days,absorbing excellent teaching achievements at home and abroad to serve for ourteaching, the writer have translated a classic sight singing textbook《Music For SightSinging》,which is taken by my professor from America. While fully translated thetextbook, I have made comprehensively analysis and further study of it , thus formsthis passage. Through analyzing the content and comparison of each section, thispassage thoroughly arrangs the structure and content of textbook, it mainlygeneralized the characteristics of content designing and textbook compiling, andfirstly find the writer’s different generalizations and explanations of minor sol-fa inthe textbook, that is“Movable-do Solfège with do-based minor”. This passageanalyses American sight singing textbook , and positively introduces it to china , thesignificance of this passage is finding new ideas and adding new kind to ourcountries’s Sight singing and ear training textbooks’construction, provide someimportant references and bases for it.
