This article focuses on the research and current market statusanalysis of comedy performing arts and deals with this topic mainly byown social practice and experience. As comedy can be divided intoseveral major categories, comedy performing also has different styles. Atall times and in all countries, there has been no lack of excellent comedyperforming artists and the performing styles of them have always beencompletely different: exaggeration, reasonless humor, performing joy toexpress real sadness, silence style. So many types of styles lead tocontention in performing arts.It was once misinterpreted that comedian tried to touch and impressaudiences simply by external performance. In this article, the relationshipbetween roles’ internal psychology and exaggerate external performanceis going to be discussed.According to the demand of comedy in present drama market inChina, this article tries to analyze current condition of comedy in order todiscover necessary qualities that can make a comedian.It will also be superficially discussed in this article about how totrain comedians that can meet demands of time and definitions of the“gift” that a comedian should own.
