In the history of western opera, it was the golden age for the soprano come out insuccession during the 1950’s to the 1960’s. In such a period , Maria Callas and RenataTebaldi made remarkable achievements. They combined the passion of opera with theextraordinary singing skills closely together as talent soprano, which made the BelCanto opera carry forward, that build on the past and prepare for the future in the history.They are the sopranos who made great contribution to the vocal music, and could makeall the audios around the stage succumb. Study their feature of singing will be very vitalsignificance to the vocal music of our country.This context focuses on the artistic of singing skills of Maria Callas and RenataTebaldi. Based on video sound material, follow the principles of the science of sounding,and the music performance of aesthetics. Expound with objective description andsubjective interpretation. Firstly, we start our study from their growing environment andhow they began their arts paths, then we will state their achievements .Callas made lotsof operas which were way to live down come alive and she became the pioneer of thevocal opera. Renata Tebaldi was regarded as therepresentative of opera in 20th century, she got the angle’s voice, Tebaldi and Callaswere known as opera queen. In addition, this context analysis’s their feature of singingand the factors. Callas was the all-round soprano, her performances were widely shock.From the Italian classical period operas to Wagner’s operas, she could performincisively and vividly and accomplish them with ease. Renata Tebaldi was a excellentand typical cantabile soprano, there was a strong tension in the cantabile of her tone, shewas the very best exegete of heroine in the opera of Puccini and Giuseppe Verdi. Sheonly perform Italian opera in her singing career, in this domain, her unassailable skill ofsound, express the opera to the top of the world.This context is from the perspective of reality concern, combined with myknowledge from years of studying and teaching vocal music, furthermore to expoundthe revelation of studying the singing art of Maria Callas and Renata Tebaldi. Thiscontext doesn’t start with single skill of singing, but focuses on the method that alearner should gained. Weshould follow the principle of aesthetics of musical performance. Trying to make theirart of vocal music more system artiness and theoretical practically and make up the lackof the previous research in our country. Hoping that through this treatise, can make ushave further thinking on their vocal music art, and provide useful materials the future ofthe vocal music lovers, learners, educators, and researchers.
