Purpose:To study the relationship between the phlegm and blood stasis elements of acutecoronary syndromes and the extent of coronary artery lesions.Material and method:Taking125cases who were diagnosed as acute coronarysyndromes and confirmed at least one of the coronary stenosis was More than50%in ourheart disease medicine ward since January2011to October for instance, to collect thepatients’ four diagnostic information, etc after coronary arteriography within24h anddifferentiate the types of syndrome of TCM,then to analyze the relationship between thephlegm and blood stasis elements and the extent of coronary artery lesions.Results:1. The syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis is not statistical difference with the the syndromeof non-phlegm and blood stasis on lesions count; With the increase of lesions count thedifference is obvious.so is lesions narrow.2. The syndrome of blood stasis is statistically different with the syndrome of non-blood stasison lesions narrow obviously(p=0.000),and is linear related with lesions narrow(r=-0.286).3. The syndrome of phlegm is not statistically different with the the syndrome of non-phlegmon lesions count(p=0.053).4. The syndrome of blood stasis is linear related with gensini score(r=-0.249),and the gensiniscore of the syndrome of blood stasis is significantly higher than the syndrome of non-bloodstasis’.Conclusion:There is a correlation between the phlegm and blood stasis elements and theextent of coronary artery lesions.
