Composite recipe of traditional Chinese herbs plays an important role in developing Chinese Patent Medicine which has the feature of suppling each other and reducing the poison.But its composition is complex, the active ingredient content is limited, the role of diversetargets and mean become the bottleneck in the development of Chinese medicine. Therefore, the compound of the active ingredient and the substance of basic research has become the focus and emphasis of medical research. We chose "Huoxue Capaule" as the research object.Ferulic acid was selected as the research index.We compared the metabolism in normal rats and model rats hoping to provide some basis for the study of traditional Chinese Medicine.The main contents are as follows:1In order to control the quality of Huoxue Capsule,we determined the active ingredie of hydroxysafflor the yellow A(HYSA) and naringin(NG). The results showed that the linear range of HSYA and NG is1.25-50mg·L-1and8.75-350mg·L-1and the methodological visits are consistent with the requirements.2A high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for analysis of the Ferulic acid (FA) in plasma is established. In addition, the FA and endogenous substances in plasma can reach the baseline separation so the research methods can be used for the investigation of FA in rats plasma.There was a good linear relationship between the absorption peak area and the concentration in the range of0.3-10mg.L-1and the methodological visits are consistent with the requirements of biological sample analysis. The results above indicated that the method can be used for the investigation of FA in rats plasma.3In order to further clarify the metabolic processes of the traditional Chinese medicine ingredients we comparative studied the metabolic processes of FA in HuoXue Capsule, FA monomer and FA in Angelica ectract in rats. The results indicated that FA is a Compartment open model, the Tmax and t1/2Ka of FA in HuoXue Capsule was significantly increased than FA monomer group and Angelica group which indicated that the absorption of FA in HuoXue Capsule was significantly prolonged also V1/F of FA significantly increased and Cmax decreased indicating HuoXue Capsule can promote broader distribution of FA.Those can provide some basis for composite recipe of traditional Chinese herbs.After intragastric administration of HuoXue Capsule, Ferulic acid and Angelica, the pk parameters of FA in plasma of normal SD rats and Stagnancy of Qi and Blood Stasis model rats are compared the pharmacokinetic parameters.We found that in model rats the Cmax was siginificantly increased,theVl/F and CL/F were decreased,indicating that HuoXue Capsule can play a better effect in the pathological model.
