This thesis consists of two parts:a literature review and a clinical observation.The literature review is about mechanism from irinotecan-induced delayed diarrhea, diarrhea in Western medicine treatment are discussed.The second part is a clinical research,which observed the clinical efficacy of ginger Xie Xin Tang prevention UGT1variant population irinotecan irinotecan induced delayed diarrhea.Background:Irinotecan is a semi-synthetic camptothecin derivatives. Modern medicine, urgent from the Western point of view in-depth study of Irinotecan intestinal toxicity of the chemotherapy drugs, there is no effective prevention medicines and practices.Objective:Through a prospective on the use of FOLFIRI chemotherapy regimen in patients with case analysis, evaluation of prophylactic administration of Chinese medicine recipe ginger Xiexin Decoction on irinotecan leads to delayed diarrhea symptom relief, especially on the UGT1variant patients using irinotecan leads to delayed effect of diarrhea, ginger and assessment heart decoction in prevention of UGT1in different genotype groups irinotecan induced tardive diarrhea curative effect, for clinical application of ginger Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of UGT1genotype populations using irinotecan induced delayed diarrhea to provide clinical evidence and theoretical basis, to promote the clinical application and research.Methods:Prospective of our hospital in2011June-20123months combined with western medicine for medical oncology hospital treated40cases of advanced cancer patients with colorectal tumors were analyzed, the groups using FOLFIRI chemotherapy plan1days ago, prophylactic ginger Xiexin Decoction7agent, and check the patients with UGT1genotype, comparison of different UGTl gene type, gender, age, Karnofsky scores, and prophylaxis occurrence and diarrhea diarrhea after classification, on each index of heterogeneity test rate of main application of Pearson chi-square test and Fisher exact test two test methods, analysis of prophylactic given ginger Xiexin Decoction on different genotype UGT1crowd to use Iraq irinotecan induced delayed diarrhea effect. Results:In40patients, in which the UGT1mutation type in10cases,30cases compared with wild type UGT1, UGT1mutant and wild type of patient’s sex, age, Karnofsky scores were not statistically different, P>0.05.UGT1mutations occurring in patients with diarrhea in3cases, UGT1wild-type occurred in patients with diarrhea in12cases, both by Pearson chi-square test showed no significant difference, diarrhea degree is no statistically difference.The UGT1mutation in patients with wild type UGT1patients first diarrhea occur a number of days there was statistically significant difference, P<0.05.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine the ginger xiexin soup can significantly reduce the UGT1variant populations use of irinotecan Kang due to delayed diarrhea incidence, alleviate diarrhea extent, worthy of promotion and application...
