1ObjectiveTo observe the effect of compound xueshuantong dripping pills on treating non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.The effect of compound xueshuantong dripping pills on visual acuity, fundus fluorescein angiography,foveal thickness and clinical symptoms of patients with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy will be evaluated. To observe the effect of compound xueshuantong dripping pills on measuring VEGF content in aqueous. The effect of compound xueshuantong dripping pills on inhibiting of retinal neovascularization of patients with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy will be evaluated.2MethodsThe study is composed by two parts, one part is clinical observation of compound xueshuantong dripping pills on patient which with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy. The other part is analysis of the VEGF content of Aqueous of early diabetic retinopathy.1) The first part:Clinical observation on treating early diabetic retinopathy with compound xuehuantong dripping pills.122eyes with early diabetic retinopathy were observed and50eyes were treated for90days.Treated group(50eyes)were treated with compound xueshuantong dripping pills.Control group(72eyes)were not treated.Therapeutic effect of compound xueshuantong dripping pills was evaluated by visual acuity.fundus fluorescein angiography, foveal thickness, and clinical symptoms.2) The second part:Observating the VEGF content in aqueous on treating early diabetic retinopathy with compound xuehuantong dripping pills. The aqueous VEGF content of50eyes in A and D groups were observed after treating with compound xueshuantong dripping pills. Analysis the relationship between the VEGF content in aqueous and early diabetic retinopathy.3Results(1) The first part:Clinical observation on treating early diabetic retinopathy with compound xueshuantong dripping pill. Results show compound xueshuantong dripping pills is effective on elevating visual acuity,decreasing the number of microaneurysm. promoting the disappearance of fundus bleeding, decreasing fluorescein leakage of macular,decreasing thickness of foveal and improving clinical symptoms of early diabetic retinopathy. The comparations of treated group with control group show that there is difference in above standards (p<0.05), also, compound xueshuantong dripping pills can improve some clinical symptoms, such as unclear when watching matter, dryness of the eyes, fatigue, mouth dryness and constipation.(2)The second part:Observating the VEGF content in aqueous on treating early diabetic retinopathy with compound xuehuantong dripping pills.The VEGF content in A and D groups is greatly reduced,and what’s more, the VEGF content in B,C and E groups is obviously increasing. 4ConsultsThe two parts of this study are about the therapy and relevant factors of early diabetic retinopathy.We can get some consults from the results. Compound xueshuantong dripping pill is effective on elevating visual acuity,decreasing the number of microaneurysm, promoting the disappearance of fundus bleeding, decreasing fluorescein leakage of macular,decreasing the thickness of foveal and improving clinical symptoms of early diabetic retinopathy patients.lt could be choosed in therapy of early diabetic retinopathy patients.In the development of early diabetic retinopathy, DM course, VEGF content in the eyes may play important roles. Perhaps we can reduce the possibility of retinal neovascularization by reducing the levels of VEGF in the eyes.
