Objective1、To study the possible differences in P300detection and RBANS(the reapeatable battery forthe assessment of neuropsychological status) between those major depressive disorder patientswho have suicidal ideation and those who did not have.2、To study the charactoristic of impulsive personality of the major depressive disorderpatients with suicidal ideation, exploring the influence to the suicidal ideation and providing thebasis for the suicide prevention of the depressed patients .Methods493 the major depressive disorder patients were collected as reaserch objects:324 the majordepressive disorder patients with suicidal ideation,169 nonsuicidal ideations, use the standard forthe group of Mental illness comply with The fourth edition of The Diagnostic and StatisticalManual of The Diagnostic criteria(Diagnostic and Disorders of abstract for your DNSsetting,theDSM-were The heavy natureⅣ)depressive disorders,a single attack or“heavy sexualdepressive disorders, repeated attacks”diagnosis, applied the DSM-Ⅳ-TR shaftΙobstaclesformulary Clinical examination (Structured Interview for Clinical DSM-Ⅳ,SCID)asstandardized Clinical Diagnostic tool. The 17-depression Hamilton Depression Scale more than17scores.select 161 comparison subjects with no psychiatric history.Collect three groups of general demographic data(age, gender, educational level), The17-depression Hamilton Depression Scale scores, the Barratt Impulsive Personality Scale scoresand the performance on event-ralated potentials P300 and RBANS in these threegroups.SPSS13.0 statistical software used statistical analysis:t-test,χ2-test,analysis ofvariance, correlation analysis and regression analysis with the three groups.Results:1、Analysis of demographic information:There were no significant differences of age, sexand educational level among these three groups.(P>0.05)2、The Barratt Impulsive Personality Scale scores of the major depressive disorder patientswith suicidal ideation are higher than the major depressive disorder patients without suicidalideation.(P<0.05)3、P300detection showed that the N2latent in the major depressive disorder patients withsuicidal ideation (202.61±42.284)ms and those without suicidal ideation(206.02±45.145)ms arelonger than the control group(186.95±53.282)ms; the N2amplitude in the major depressivedisorder patients with suicidal ideation(2.385±2.135)μV are lower than those without suicidalideation (2.819±2.230)μV and the control group(2.860±2.266)μV.(P<0.05) 4、RBANS results showed that the total score and the instant memory、vision width、speechfunction、notice and delay memory effects in the major depressive disorder patients with orwithout suicidal ideation are worse than the control group.Compared with the major depressivedisorder patients without suicidal ideation, the deficit of attention and memory function of themajor depressive disorder patients with suicidal ideation are more serious.(P<0.05)5、On the suicidal ideation in the experimental group multivariate analysis found that:theimpulsive personality and the instant memory effect are the influencing factors. The impulsivepersonality is the risk factor of the major depressive disorder patients with suicidalideation(standard regression coefficient -0.051), the higher score of the instant memory is theprotective factor of the major depressive disorder patients with suicidal ideation(standardregression coefficient 0.021).Conclusion1、The major depressive disorder patients with or without suicidal ideation may havevarious degree of damages in cognitive function.2、The major depressive disorder patients with suicidal ideation may have the tendency toimpulsive personality and more significant deficit of attention and memory function.3、The impulsive personality maybe is the risk factor of the major depressive disorderpatients with suicidal ideation; the higher score of the instant memory maybe is the protectivefactor of the major depressive disorder patients with suicidal ideation.
