Ct/mri Image Fusion For The Treatment Of Laryngeal Cancer Surgery Of Guiding Significance To The Study

0bjective：Explore a method to achieve the fusion image of MRI and CT scans of the laryngealcarcinoma ; To investigate the value of fusion image of MRI and CT scans in TNM staging oflaryngocarcinoma and the significance for surgical treatment.Method:Thirty—one patients with laryngocarcinoma were underwent by MRI scan and CTscan in the planned treatment position within the immobilization and the same bodyposition.Transfer the two images to the medical doctors workstations at the same time．Makeimage fusion on the use of the image fusion software on the workstation. To make a diagnosisbased on CT and fusion image, we contrasted the accuracy rating,sensitivity,specificity inlaryngeal manifestation of abnormality. Choose surgery based on the fusion images, MRI, CTdiagnosis，Treatment according to the fusion image, Pathological diagnosis as the gold standard,Compare the difference of the resection in three groups.Result:We can get the good fusion image of MRI and CT scans of the laryngeal carcinoma inthe method above;the fusion image can show by three ways;Fusion images, MRI, CT, violationsRange of various sub-structure of the tumor in the diagnosis of laryngeal and neck lymph nodemetastasis, was positively correlated with the pathological findings（P<0.05）,but there is nostatistically significant（P>0.05）.Comparison the diagnostic accuracy of fusion images and ofMRI, CT,there is no statistically significant（P>0.05）.fusion image has better accuracy ratingthan MSCT in some of laryngeal and the lymphnode metastasis. Surgery in the fusionimage-guided,comparaed with MRI and CT,change the surgical approach of 6 patients, 4 ofthese patients retained the structure of some of the features, two cases to expand the range ofresection.Conclusion:It is difficult to get the fused image ,because the special larynx structure and worksdifferently for get CT, MRI images,We can get the good fusion image of MRI and CT scans ofthe laryngeal carcinoma in the method above.the fusion image of MRI and CT scans of thelaryngeal carcinoma can fusion the two information and improve the accuracy rating of theTNM staging of laryngocarcinoma.It is significance for surgical treatment of laryngocarcinoma.
