Objective Use of case-control study, detecting the peripheral blood leukocyte telomerelength of patients with coronary artery disease and the control group, .Analysis if the peripheralblood leukocyte telomere length in patients with coronary artery disease is higher than thecontrol group; detecting the plasma oxidized low-density lipoprotein levels of coronary arterydisease and the control group.Analysis if the plasma oxidized low-density lipoprotein in patientswith coronary artery disease is higher than the control group, so as to explore the correlationbetween the two.Methods 2011-6-9,Cardiovascular Hospital of Shanxi Province,patients with coronaryangiography (with sharp, chronic inflammation, malignant tumors and autoimmune diseases arenot included in the study). Groups: the patients was divided into coronary artery disease groupand control group belong to the results of coronary angiography . Each. group have 50 cases.CAD confirmed by coronary angiography (at least one vascular stenosis more than 50%).Control group: no coronary heart disease ( without any one vessel stenosis more than 50%) Dueto telomere length was related with age and gender, we match the two groups of gender and age,the difference of the paired age less than 2 years old). Real-time quantitative PCR determinationof peripheral blood leukocyte telomere length; Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)detection of plasma oxidized low-density lipoprotein (OX-LDL).Results CAD group telomere length is 4.17±1.84, in the control group telomere length was5.41±2.58, the difference was significant t=2.354 (P <0.05); The relative telomere length was0.77±0.13. CAD plasma oxidized low-density lipoprotein (OX-LDL)concentration was63.56±8.75(ug/l).The control group, plasma oxidized low-density lipoprotein (OX-LDL)concentration was 41.58±6.79(ug/l).The difference was significant t=2.47 (P <0.05); CADgroup telomere length and the concentration of plasma oxidized low-densitylipoprotein(OX-LDL) have a negative correlation. r=-0.94(P≤0.05).Conclusion Average peripheral blood leukocyte telomere length in CAD patients wasshorter than those without coronary heart disease ;suggesting that cellular senescence may beaccelerated by the CAD patients manifested by telomere shortening; oxidized low densitylipoprotein plasma in patients with coronary artery disease was higher than those withoutcoronary artery disease, confirms the important role of oxidative stress in coronary artery disease;negative correlation of telomere length and plasma oxidized low-density lipoprotein indicating...
