There is some function such as heat-clearing and detoxifying,antisepsis and anti-inflammation in Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix,which is widely used in prevening and treating epidemic encephalitis b,epidemic parotitis,pidemic hepatitis,influenza and atypical pneumonia.It has made the great progress.Germplasm resources is the source of medicinal materials production. The pros and cons of germplasm have a decisive impact on the yield and quality of the medicinal.So the surveying of the germplasm resources for Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix is necessry. For quality evaluation, Existing quality standards of Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix just has physical and chemical identification, identifying the pros and cons of herbs is weak.We have used single index component analysis and principal component analysis to compare with the quality of herbal materials in the foundation of germplasm resources about Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix and researched the characteristic spectrum and mearsured the heavy metal content for improving the quality standards of Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix objectively and effectively.1、Germplasm resources research in Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix produced in Guizhou.We find that wild Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix has almost died out by reviewing the literature, field survey,analyzing growth and distribution so that we propose a solution for medicinal resources protection.2、The research in the Multi-indicator of quality control methods of Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix produced in Guizhou.Determine the content of Indigo, adenosine and Indirubin in Baphicacanthis Cusiaes Rhizoma et Radix which are from different habitats, different harvest and different processing methods by using adenosine as a quality evaluation to study the comparative results. The results show that making the adenosine as an evaluation index can reflect the composition of Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix multiple indicator information.The manner is so simple that we can make the adenosine be the index to evaluate the quality of Baphicacanthis Cusiaes Rhizoma et Radix.We make sure that the best place of origin is the town of bajie in Xinyi of Guizhou in China,the best harvest time is August, the best processing method is drying without sunshine in this methods of evaluation.3、The Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix HPLC characteristic spectrum in Guizhou.A systematic study to the characteristic spectrum in Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix is by HPLC. It measured11batches in Guizhou Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix herbs, seven different origin herbs. We have established a Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix herbs characteristic spectrum method. The methodological study showed that the precision, stability, reproducibility were good. There was10common peak in Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix in it.Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix main composition is basically the same, but the content of each component are different. This method can promote the means of identification of authenticity and merits as Guizhou Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix herbs. It can provide technical support for enhancing the quality standards of Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix in Guizhou.4、The heavy metal content of Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix in GuizhouIt determines heavy metals of As, Hg content of different origin Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix herbs by atomic fluorescence spectrometry. It measured the fluorescence intensity of the arsenic and mercury with the mixed solution of nitric acid and perchloric acid wet digestion,2%HCL solution for the carrier, NaOH and NaBH4as a reducing agent of seven origin Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix herbs. In the best experimental conditions, it measured by the different origin of the Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix:Hg≤0.06mg. kg-1, As of≤0.2mg. kg-1. The measured levels are in line with the herbs of heavy metals, it provides an experimental basis for the safety of use of the Baphicacanthis Cusiae Rhizoma et Radix in Guizhou.
