Modern Architecture Interior Energy-saving Design Development Trend Research

Nowadays, modern architecture has gained speedy development, which is the prideof all human. However, when modern architecture and interior design are in full swing,some kind of blindness emerges. As for the development of modern architecture, it musttake the premise of China’s resource shortage and environmental problem intoconsideration, but the truth is not. For example, the energy utilization in China is about33percent, which is much lower than other countries and approximately about30percent ofAmerica and14percent of Japan. Therefore, China must put modern architecture andinterior design in a way that is energy-saving and environment-protective. What’s more,the design of energy-saving buildings, and the research for the energy-efficient technologyis also an important subject for the contemporary industry.The architectural interior is indispensable for human survival and is the man-madeenvironment based on new technology, new material and new concept. To put it simple, itis to provide human beings with comfortable and safe space environment. As architectureand interior designers or relevant industry practitioners, they cann’t simply pursue theenvironmental artistic effects or the functional value only. They need to think more aboutthe design elements such as material, color, structure, etc and most importantly thecombination between these elements and the conception of energy conservation andsustainable development.This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part mainly introduces thedevelopment of the interior energy-saving design of traditional architecture, and thenexpands the research of the traditional design methods and the its ignorance to aestheticvalues. The second part is based on the actual situation of the contemporary architecture.Through the research to the energy-saving concept, new energy and new technical means,this paper tries to find the meeting point between energy-saving and architecturalaesthetics and analyzes the aesthetic value from the perspective of environmental designaesthetics. The third parts will depict the development trend for the integration betweenthe energy-saving and aesthetics, hoping that it will contribute to the interior architecture design.
