With the rapid development of the national economy, the role of the crane was more andmore prominent, in which the degree of rationality of the hoisting mechanism would directlyaffect the performance of the crane. The issue was hoisting mechanism for the study, then thesecondary development of Pro/E was been, as the VC++6.0development platform, usedwildfire Pro/E2.0Pro/Toolkit for kit, combined with ADO database access technology byAccess2003, and parametric design was completed. The kinematic and dynamic analysis ofparametric design three-dimensional model was performed base upon_xt formet inADAMS2005.The hoisting mechanism was the complex mechanical systems, so it was divided into anumber of modules in hoisting mechanism parametric design, such as wire rope and pulleyblock module, drum module, motor module, brake module, speed reducer module and otherparts of the set of modules, and then the detailed parametric design for each module was done.The dynamic link library (DLL) file was created in VC++6.0, then a series of environmentsettings for it were completed, after that the dialog box was established and the class of eachmodule was defined. The corresponding function was added in the program frameworkestablished, and its function come true by function call. Added the message response function,ADO database access function, dimension-driven functions and generation of calculationbook in the dynamic link library to achieve the key parameters designed of the hoistingmechanism, checking and transfering the parameters of the three-dimensional mode. Whilesynchronous development technology for secondary development of Pro/E, the dynamiclibrary (DLL file) was registered to the Pro/E by registration documents and resources menufile, then there would be parametric design menu in Pro/E interface, and it could call thedynamic libraries to implement object-oriented, visual and parameterized database accessing,design calculations and parametric three-dimensional modeling.Because the working environment of hoisting mechanism is harsh, it requires frequentstarting and braking in practical work, so the hoisting mechanism has high designrequirements. Currently, hoisting mechanism was designed mainly by traditional statics,sothe dynamic simulation analysis of hoisting mechanism has an extremely importantsignificance. Three-dimensional model which has been completed by parameterization wasimported into ADAMS2005base upon_xt format for simulation. Since the the rope of hoisting mechanism being a large flexible member, the impact between the wire rope withdrum, the inpact between car wheels with track,flexibility of the main girder and so on, thehoisting mechanism is given intense vibration by violent impact during hoisting operation, sokinematics and dynamics analysis has to be performed. Simulation analysis of hoistingmechanism require the higher computer configuration, and the simulation time is too long, sothe model would be simplified. The data change about the tension of the wire rope, andvelocity, displacement and acceleration of load hoisting was mainly analysed, while theweight was from acceleration to constant velocity to deceleration.
