With the development of modern industrial technology, the traditional single degree of freedom motor can’t meet the requirements. So multiple degree of freedom motor technology has received more and more attention and research. Maglev spherical motor is a high speed and high-speed drive source, it is the will of maglev technology and motor technology combined, have no friction, no wearing, no pollution, no lubrication and advantages of long life, and can achieve space fixed-point rotation, complete the3D movement needs. Apply to all kinds of high speed, ultra-high speed, vacuum and special circumstances. In the military, aerospace, nuclear industry, transportation, energy resources, life science fields has a broad prospect of application and important scientific significance.For now, the modern control theory and its electrical and electronic technology development, and has formed all kinds of motor control theory, however, in many degrees of freedom spherical motor, and many shortcomings.Combining with the maglev technology and more freedom motor characteristics, puts forward a new structure more freedom spherical induction motor. Maglev technology application, to avoid the use of mechanical bearing brought about by the friction and wear and improve the efficiency of the motor, and to facilitate the spherical motor to high speed, ultra-high speed the direction of development, make the application range of the spherical motor more widely. At the same time, the spherical motor can be realized fixed-point rotation space, instead of by single freedom transmission mechanism to form a traditional complex movement transmission mechanism to complete the spatial multi-dimensional movement, simplify the system structure.This paper first introduced the domestic and foreign many degrees of freedom for the current research status of motor, and put forward a new type of three degrees of freedom spherical structure of the magnetic suspension of induction motor, and connecting with the motor learning, electromagnetism principle to build maglev spherical mathematical model of induction motor.Because freedom maglev spherical induction motor system is a typical nonlinear and strong coupling of complex system, to simplify the motor control system, this paper introduces the design of magnetic suspension spherical induction motor experimental platform structure, and use no bearing the motor vector control principle. establish the control system diagram.And then combining with the maglev spherical induction motor and the control strategy of using SEED-DCS2407A application development board, and with TMS320LF2407A as the core, established the maglev spherical induction motor control hardware system, and to establish a modular software system.At the same time, this paper based on Matlab/Simulink joint simulation modeling. are established and the rotating part of the suspension of model, the system simulation analysis.
