The main research object of this paper focuses on the30mm automatic grenade launcher. Some works are done to prepare the dynamic simulation about this AGL that includes building the3-D model by Solid Works software and calculating the gas pressure during the periods of internal ballistic and after-effect and the gas pressure of the gas chamber by Matlab language.The first work of this paper is to simulate the launching process of the grenade launcher on the base of the coupled dynamics theory. Then discuss the simulation result about the grenade launcher recoiling characteristics on each case and compare the different simulation results on different cases covering the addition of the buffer-type spade and hydraulic and spring buffer between the gun mount and the receiver on the AGL.The paper also studies the high-low pressure interior ballistics for the purpose of reduction of the recoil and improvement of the initial velocity and firing stability. The establishment of the relevant mathematical models and the calculation of the powder burning gas pressure support the successful dynamic simulation and comparison of the different simulation results.Finally, this paper makes use of Adams to discuss the dynamic simulation result of the machine gun with barrel long-recoiling style with establishing3-D models and calculating the gas pressure during the periods of internal ballistic and after-effect. Then the paper studies the gas-oper-ated machine gun by modifying the3-D models and recalculating the relevant gas pressure for comparing the machine gun recoiling characteristics.
