With the development of science and technology, unmanned technology has been more and more widely used in the weapon system. As the artillery elevation and direction transmission mechanism is a central component of modern unmanned artillery, its performance matters a lot to whether the artillery can locate and strike the targets precisely and quickly so as to give full play to its combat capabilities. Therefore, it is quite essential to study out a set of control system suitable for unmanned artillery transmission mechanism and conduct simulation research on its control performance. Specific work is as follows:(1) Firstly analyzed the current situation and trends of unmanned artillery at home and abroad, choose the right control system, initially determine the performance parameters of the system based on its structural characteristics, select appropriate servo motor and make necessary checking through analysis and calculation of performance parameters.(2) Secondly established mathematical models for the servo motor and the power amplification device through analysis, starting from the general design of DC speed control system, design the current loop and voltage loop suitable for the system. Set up its mathematical model according to the well-designed double-loop speed control system, initially determine the parameters for the PID controller through theoretical calculation of the mathematical model. Based on above, conduct online setting of PID parameters and co-simulation of the model by means of the simulation software ADAMS and MATLAB/Simulink to make an analysis and research of the simulation results.(3) Finally combined with the characteristics of the transmission mechanism, select the fuzzy control as an optimization program. On this basis, adopt the fuzzy control to optimize the PID controller and improve the static and dynamic performance of the control system。 through analyze the result of the simulation of the PID system and fuzzy system, the fuzzy control can improve the stability of the system performance, but the control precision decline compared with the PID control system. Fuzzy PID control technology can meet the requirements of the precision and fast to the mechanism, at the same time also enhance the overall performance of the system.
