A5.8mm assault rifle with a“回”shaped motion bolt is studied. The fire frequency of the rifle is not restrained by the magazine feeding speed due to the change in the feeding path, which is different from the traditional rifles. The assault rifle strives to achieve the performance similar to AN94in terms of variable frequency and burst high precision by using the"回”shaped motion, but its structure is much simpler than AN94.The structure, motion characteristics, motion and strength reliability of the“回”shaped motion action bolt and related components are studied, on the basis of which the matters needed attention in the bolt design and improvement method are analyzed, providing some reference for the“回”shaped motion’s prospective follow-up study.In the study of motion characteristics of bolt, high and low frequency firing condition are analyzed respectively according to the sequence of bolt movement, and relations between different motility parameters are obtained; In the study of bolt motion reliability, five kinds of possible movement fault are analyzed in high and low frequency firing condition according to bolt movement, and some measures that can be adopted to avoid the movement fault are obtained; In the study of bolt strength reliability, strength reliability in different shooting stage of six different moments are analyzed in high and low frequency firing condition according to the motion sequence, some measures that can be adopted to avoid the strength fault are obtained.
