| Since the1990s, China’s national strength has been rising, with exchanges between the international and inter-city becoming more frequently.It promote the growth of the exhibition industry, the annual growth rate is up to20%-30%. The rapid development of the MICE industry has brought new opportunities and challenges to the traditional hotel industry in China. Instead of a simple form of the meeting.the conference hotel came into being to provide good accommodation and entertainment for conference guests while meeting conferencing capabilities.The conference hotel become a new bright spot in the hotel industry.Under the influence of the Design trend of the international style,the geographical features has been gradually disappearing, this is an important issue of global concern.the geographical characteristics of the conference hotel also has a remarkable significance. Therefore,this paper is based on the geographical characteristics of the conference hotel,with the literature search, comparative analysis, case studies, the combination of law as well as the theoretical research and empirical research methodology, and analyzes the influencing factors to the geographical features of conference hotel.to draw the regional design strategy and apply to the design practice.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is a portion of the questions.It is a general overview of the research theme, including the background, content and object of study, research methods, and the overall framework of the thesis.The second part is the analysis part of the problem. Firstly.explain the relevant definitions of the theme; Then clear the significance for geographical features of the conference hotel and summarize the specific meaning of conference hotel’s geographical characteristics; Finally,study the the constituent elements of geographical characteristics in the conference hotel design.The third part is the part to solve the problem.It is to analysis the factors of the Heilongjiang conference hotel’s geographical features, from the three aspects of the environment, culture and technology concept to draw the appropriate design strategy and reveals the thinking behind the design of the geographical features.Finally.the geographical characteristics of the conference hotel design has very important practical significance.
