In the area of engineering, complex structure system is very common. As the type of complex structure system, artillery firing a high transient, heavy load and strong nonlinear. Each part undergoes large load, at the same time,very connector affects artillery’s dynamic behavior.As the connector between the top carriage and under carriage, skewing bearing has a strong effect on artillery. Except the rotational DOF on its owe axial, very DOF has stiffness,so it is necessary to get the stiffness. Artillery use traversing mechanism to constraint this DOF. This thesis does deep research on artillery’s some main connectors and make design of experiment for artillery firing stability, the main research content include:1.As some of the main connectors in artillery, traversing mechanism and skewing bearing have a very important place. I search after the assembly relations between top carriage, under carriage, skewing bearing and traversing mechanism. And research the method of modeling for main connectors in total artillery.2. First,based on the Hertz contact theory,using Updated Plamgren formula,we establish the balanced equation of vertical load and overturning model and get the relationship between the displacement and the load in different cases. Then,we build the FEA model according to the real dimension of slewing bearing.With taking the best advantage of the FEA software’s ability of solving nonlinear contact,we get different results of analysis under different loads.Last,according to the definition of stiffness,we get the nonlinear stiffness of slewing bearing by calculating the results.3. Making analysis of stiffness of traversing mechanism. Traversing mechanic is consisted of gear, worm and disc spring. Research the effect of every aspect on stiffness, make3D finite element model and carry on the stiffness analysis under different load and different situation.4.Research on artillery model in rigid and FEM situation, make subroutine function for the press on gun, set each connector stiffness and analyze the dynamic situation of the firing artillery. Design a design of experiment, choose these parameters which may affect the firing stability as factor, use orthogonal layout to plan experiment, get the experiment data and last can know which is the most influent factor by data analysis.
