Structural plane is the the production of the specific physical and mechanical environment of engineering rock mass, which is the main channel of subsurface flow and weak structure plane in rock mass, determining the engineering properties of rock mass. High-level radioactive waste disposal site have high requirements of the rock mass, especially permeability properties of the fractured rock mass, which is an essential factor to decided to this area can be as the final disposal site, and the distribution and connectivity of the rock mass structure is the dominant factor affect the seepage of rock mass. As a structural surface in rocks generally, craks have the characteristics of widely distributed, huge quantity and regularly in statistics.The measurement, investigation and statistics of this structural surface is the basics of the creation of Structural surface Deterministic model as well as the Permeability analysis of rock and Evaluation of rock mass quality.In this thesis, as a cnadidate area fo r high level waste repository in China, the rock mass fractuer system of the Jijicao unit garnite of the block the Beishan area in GnasuPorvinee, is chosen as the study objeet. Measuerments of Fissure occurrence are completed through traditional methods well control points of the fractures’trace in survey areas are accomplish by GPS-RTK technology, combine completed regional geological suvrey results with analysis information of fractures. With this measurement we gained a large number of distribution characteristics of regional structural surface. Using the analysis softwares to count, caculate and analysis the elements of the cracks(including trace, occurrence and density), then determine the number of packets of the survey area fissures. Utilizing Arcgis platform to simulation the network diagram of the trace length of fractures,at the same time we extract the uncertainty fractures of survey areas by remote sensing resolve of satellite images, and then registration them to generate the maps of traces of fracture network through Latitude and longitude coordinates; Establishing discrete network model of survey areas impress based on data we have surveyed and calculate the shortest connectivity path of well points in different azimuth and distance and then evaluate of the rock mass connectivity and looking for developed area of fractrues. Analysis results indicate that, the whole fracture network have the fissure connectivity between different direction, connectivity is better than the other direction when deviate40~50and140~160degree of Y(N) direction which is weaker in0-20and170-180. the shortest path length link between drill This resurch systematicly analysis the characteristics and laws of fractures of study area and provide the necessary data for the examination of the location of nuclear waste repository.
