High-speed railway in the world is currently in the stage of strong construction and rapid development, high speed train collect current through sliding contact between the pantograph and catenary. Traction power supply and current collection system (TPCCS) is the key sub-system of the construction of high-speed railway, which directly affects the improvement of high-speed train’s operational quality and speed. Modeling and Simulation of TPCCS is the foundation of researching,and has the important guiding sense to project design on the high-speed rail.Traction network and pantogragh-catenary contact pressure and pantograph-catenary impedance etc. are focused researched.Traction network has a complex structure,and the mode is different with different power supply system. It’s difficult to be moded and simulated. Different power-supply modes of common equivalent circuit frist be built and the fundamental quantity be Solved. Circuit network of the traction network was analysised.The traction network impedance was derivated. Voltage loss of traction network was obtained.High speed train pantograph and catenary must maintain good electrical contact. Based on the vibration and motion characteristics of pantograph and catenary. Calculate the catenary-pantograph contact pressure under external multi incentive effect. Find out the catenary-pantograph’relation between the force and the electrical, combined with the catenary-pantograph the characteristics of contact and current collection factors. The mathematical model of pantograph catenary impedance is established.Taking Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway as a prototype, the mathematical model of traction power supply and current collection system is established by combining with the power supply scheme, general configuration and features of the route. The whole model consists of traction network and pantogragh-catenary contact pressure and pantograph-catenary impedance. The model built by Matlab/Simulink can flexibly change line parameters, running speed and external disturbance. Baded on the simulation model, contact force and traction’s impedance and current collection characteristic is analyzed. The results show that the model can effectively reveal traction’s voltage fluctuation and electrical properties, and show the internal physical mechanics law and the actual working process.
