All kinds of forms of energy can be converted into each other. As we all know, electrical energy can be converted into magnetic energy and light energy can be converted into electrical energy, but there has been no direct way to convert light energy into magnetic energy. In order to solve the problem, we can irradiate a metal applying circularly polarized light which is emitted from high-power pulsed lasers, and so a high magnetic field can be created in the space of a few centimeters around the metal. This is a direct way to convert light energy into magnetic energy. So it has epoch-making significance to achieve the above assumption. The electric vector of circularly polarized light can be simulated using a rotating electric field. So it becomes the core part of the whole work to establish the rotating electric field.The following content are included in this article:(1) The mechanism that how the current and magnetic field are induced by the rotating electric field is introduced. And elaborated the research progress and the application in various fields of the high magnetic field. Two kinds of high magnetic fields and the methods of their producing are talked about in this part. Electro-optic effect and electro-optical modulation are introduced too.(2) Two basic classifications and the theoretical basis of electro-optic effect are talked about, and explain the Pockels effect and Kerr effect in the crystal, and compared the frequency doubling between the intensity transmittances with modulation voltage.(3) Three models for producing rotating electric field are elaborated and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed and compared. The behavior of carriers in conductor is research and the current and magnetic that can be produced in conductor are calculated both in the microscopic and macroscopic.(4) The rotating electric field that produced by parallel method was explored, and the relevant experimental results and the factors which affect the experiment were analyzed. It is proposed that the rotating electric field produce by circumference electrode which using Ad9850module DDS signal generator to generate8signals with same frequency so that optimized the experimental setup.
