The main study is effects on performance, combustion and emission characteristic on diesel engine with biodiesel at home and abroad, while study in the high altitude environment is relatively less. This study is for exploring the performance, combustion and emission characteristic law on high pressure common rail diesel engine with biodiesel and diesel in different atmospheric pressure, and some study are done on B10’s performance and combustion characteristic of electronic parameter changed in high altitude environment. The results show that, compared with BO, power of B10and B20is a little lower, to fuel consumption, is a little higher in different atmospheric pressure; performance and economy of the common rail diesel engine with B0, B10and B20are different in different atmospheric pressure, compared with81kPa, the power and economy of the90kPa and100kPa are improved; compared with90kPa to81kPa, the degree of power and economy improved is lower than100kPa to90kPa; in the load characteristic experience, the atmospheric pressure difference which has effect on fuel consumption, has less effect in low load and has more effect in high load, that is obvious in high load of low speed; accompanied by increased atmospheric pressure, the emission temperature down, compared with BO, emission temperature of B10and B20is a little low, but the difference between them is close; in the100%load and the same atmospheric pressure condition, compared with BO, the highest combustion pressure and peak pressure up rate of B10and B20are a little lower in3200r/min and1200r/min speed, however, which is more higher in2200r/min; compared with81kPa, highest combustion pressure and peak pressure up rate of BO, B10and B20are both higher; in the60%load and the same atmospheric pressure condition, the highest combustion pressure and peak pressure up rate of B10and B20are more higher than BO’s; compared with BO, HC, CO and soot emission of B10and B20decrease in the same atmospheric pressure; compared with BO, NOx emission of B10and B20increases both in81kPa and100kPa; the trend of BO, B10and B20’s power and economy effected by atmospheric pressure has no change before and after fuel injection angle changed, when change the fuel injection angle for-1°CA, B10’s highest combustion pressure down, peak pressure up rate and cylinder peak temperature up; compared with same torque of BO, B10’s which increases stroke fuel injection, peak cylinder combustion pressure is down, at the same time, peak pressure up rate, cylinder temperature and all heat released are up, whose torque up.
