| Ballistic missile(BM) is an important tool in modern military penetration field, and also plays a key role in national military power. Therefore the defense of BM is very important in early warning system. While, the system simulation technology is an essential tool and means for the research of ballistic missile defense technology. The visual simulation technology, which originates the field of military simulation, can provide simulation system with the process of man-in-the-loop simulation and is an effective technology link to support the system simulation. To reproduce the whole process of ballistic missile penetration based on the technologies of visual simulation and scene simulation is an effective and feasible way for the development of ballistic missiles and missile defense system, the exercises of missiles tactics, and the training of military personnel. So, the simulation is worth research.Referring to the Minuteman III ballistic missile penetration, this dissertation focused on studying and analyzing the typical targets type and motion characteristics in ballistic missile penetration system, based on the model of targets group. According to the principle of missile flight and control, the whole process of ballistic missile penetration was simulated, the visual simulation of the missile defense penetration process was completed and a visual ballistic missile visual simulation system based on STK was established.The main contents of this dissertation can be summarized as follows1. Ballistic missile attack process was analyzed. Take the Minuteman III ballistic missile as an example, analyze the characteristics of typical ballistic missile penetration process, including the targets type, motion characteristics and parameters and based on that, study the micro-motion model and attitude type when missiles are in flight.2. Visual Simulation technology was studied, the target three-dimensional model and motion model and the visual simulation and rendering based on the STK platform were build. The coordinate system in the ballistic missiles visual simulation was studied, and the coordinate system transformation methods were studied. 3.The structure of the visual simulation system was designed, including four parts which were data input, management and control module, calculation module and data output and display module. The implementation of the each functional module was completed based on the structural design.4. The ballistic missiles visual simulation platform was designed and developed. The visual simulation console program was designed to complete following functions: manage, control and monitor the simulation process according to the needs of users; add objects, set and modify their parameters (the objects includes radar, missiles, decoys, etc); control visual simulation process; synchronize and communicate with other federal members; initialize the missile simulation process; correspondingly control the simulation process, and can provide other federal members with simulation data. |
