Flocculant is necessary to the water treatment industry as the Water Treatment Agent. The common flocculant are inorganic and organic flocculant, but they are easy to pollute the environment. Microbial flocculant is a new safe, efficient flocculant from the extraction of microorganisms or their secretions, and it is widely used. But because of its high preparation cost, low yield, difficult production strain screening.many microbial flocculants are at the stage of laboratory research.Thus, it is very significant to find a way to product microbial flocculent cheaply, efficiently.Chinese traditional medicine residues are the waste of Chinese traditional medicine production. If they were not handled properly, they would cause environmental pollution.At present the main approach is incineration, composting, heavy extraction and cell culture. With the increase of national environmental governance’s attention on environment, how to treat and reuse of Chinese traditional medicine residues has become an important topic in Chinese traditional medicine industry.Because of most Chinese traditional medicine residues containing cimino acid, reducing sugar, cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, crude protein, organic matter, and the phosphorus, iron, potassium and other inorganic elements, they can be used as the microbial culture. If using Chinese traditional medicine residues as a medium produced the microbial flocculant, we can not only improve the utilization of Chinese traditional medicine residues rate, reduce the pollution of the environment, but can also reduce the production cost of microbial flocculant. Choose the Chinese traditional medicine residues as the research object, the fermentation production of microbial flocculant were studied. The main research contents are as follows:In order to evaluate the flocculation ability, the writer has been established a flocculant method which based on the traditional detect ion methods of flocculant for this study. Determine the fermentation broth as the tested samples. Beaker experiment i s coagulation experiment. Turbidity is the detection index.The calculation determines is the rate of flocculation flocculation ability.The strain which were screened from Chinese traditional medicine residues and activated sludge as the research object can grow in Chinese medicine residue, but also product the microbial flocculant. The Psedudomonas triviailis and Neurospora tetrasperma were selected from Chinese traditional medicine residues and the Paceilomyccs vitriolii, the Pseudonionns putian and the Neurospora telraspcrma were screened from activated sludge, in total5kinds of strain.The writer choose Chinese medicine dregs screening bacteria as the research object, by the single factor experiment.Investigated the affeetion of mierobial flocculation abi1ity which ineludc the Chinese traditional medicine residues’ species, concentration and fermenUition conditions For activated sludge screening bacteria, we investigated the Chinese traditional medicine residues’ species, concentration affection to microbial flocculation ability. Through the above research, we provide new ideas and methods for the detection of microbial flocculant. At the same time, for the development of new microbial flocculant production method and reducing the production cost of microbial flocculant, we lay the good foundation.
