Fiber Reinforced Polymers in the reinforcement and repair of oil pipeline is not need welding and fire. The Fiber Reinforced Polymers has higher strength and better design. The repair required time is short, and the operation is relatively simple. The influence is less to pipeline transportation and economic interest. Therefore, the Fiber Reinforced Polymers has been applied more and more widely in oil pipeline reinforcement and repair.Many of our in-service oil and gas pipelines in the process of operation is often strong corrosive environments, these strong corrosive environment has many influence to the repair effect of Fiber Reinforced Polymers. It will reduce the repair strength of Fiber Reinforced Polymers. Therefore, the Fiber Reinforced Polymers and its durability are main objects for study. The research methodology is taking the test specimen in a variety of typical environmental conditions, and observes the effect of different test on bond durability.The test use steel, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers and Epoxy Resin adhesive to make the test specimen. And put the test specimen in a variety of test environments, through the aging test of high and low temperature cycle, the test of water resistance, the aging test of salt and ultraviolet radiation, to research the bond characterization of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers. Then take the test specimen with different treatment time to tension and shearing test. To test its bond strength with different treatment time and research the change rule.The experiments show that, in the test of high and low temperature cycle, the test of water resistance and salt, the bond strength of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers is slightly lower. In the test of ultraviolet radiation, the bond strength has hardly changes. This shows that in the high temperature cycle, salt, high temperature water environment and ultraviolet radiation, the bond strength of Epoxy Resin adhesive both are relatively stable. Among them, high and low temperature cycle, salt, high temperature water environment has a certain influence on the bond strength of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers, and the influence of ultraviolet radiation is least.Through the experimental study, make the suggestion of the repair of damaged oil pipeline with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers. Hope to provide rational and perfect suggestion, experimental basis, to form a set of effective methods of oil pipeline repairing.
