With the continuous development of CNC machining technology, multi-axis machinery is the trend and the mainstream of Machinery manufacturing and processing industry in the future. The fourth axis function is added in this paper based on three-axis vertical milling center, the major works are as follows:The program of adding the fourth axis function is determined, hardware is selected based on technical indicators, the accuracy of the main equipment is analyzed, at the same time the production and debugging of the hardware is completed, the electrical part after transformation is analyzed and installed, and the machine system parameters is modified and debugged.The error sources of affecting machining accuracy of XH713milling machining center is analyzed, and the method of Error compensation is proposed to improve the Machining accuracy; based on Multi-body system kinematics system, space mathematical model of multi-body kinematics of the machine is established, using Homogeneous coordinate transformation matrix to describe relative position and posture relationship between the many-body.The method of detecting the accuracy of the four-axis machining centers is introduced, geometric errors and motion errors of the machine are detected using laser Interferometer, and the errors detected are analyzed.Laste Typical milling product is processed and analyzed, and is clamped and located reasonably, at the same time the processing procedures of the fourth axis are written, product is processed and the accuracy is detected.The study in this paper has practical significance for improving the efficiency of machining, the machining accuracy of CNC machine tools and the manufacturing level, promoting product diversification of machinery enterprises.
