The Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) Steelmaking Endpoint control automation is an important process and the difficulty of technology to steelmaking industry, its purpose is to make sure that both the temperature of molten steel and the contents of carbon,phosphorus and sulfur can meet the requirements after a series of blowing process.And it is the core of this paper that how to realize the temperature control of molten steel.This paper is attempted to use the temperature changes of flames spectrum to solve the problem of BOF endpoint temperature judgment based on the fact that there is abundant spectral information in the converter mouth flame and workers always estimate the BOF endpoints through observing the state of flame during production process.Based on optical fiber spectrometer as collecting device and the Planck radiation theory as a foundation, we analysis the changes of flame temperature with the aid of Newton algorithm and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm at real time.Flame temperature indirectly reflect furnace reaction between carbon and oxygen, oxygen supply intensity variations and other heat energy, so that it is possible to indicate the temperature of molten steel and slag.According to our experimental data analysis,when we face this special radiator, multispectral thermometry can reflect its brightness temperature changes in a better way and work as a good instruction to the end-point temperature prediction.
