Wettability is a major factor in the phenomena of reservoir interface. Wettability alteration will affect relative permeability of water/oil, capillary pressure, residual oil, electrical characteristic and water-injected exploitation characteristic, so the exploitation efficiency of crude oil is depended on wettability. So the research, understanding and regulation of reservoir wettability is an import link to to improve oil production.The main purpose of this article is to investigate the oil-water interfacial tension influence oil recovery factor in different models of wetting. We were trying to build up oil-water interfacial tension relations with oil recovery factor.First, the experimental methods and techniques for determining reservoir wettability are reviewed and their elementsare presented and discussed. Five quantitative, four qualitative are described in some detail. The study history, classification and measurements of reservoir wettability are described briefly in this paper, with advantages and shortcomings pointed out for each measurement. Three new methods for the determination of wettability is presented.Second, we got a lot of different types of wettabilities chemical modified. It also could provide the theory basis for indoor simulation reservoir displacement experiment with different wettability of packing medium.glass microspheres was modified by three different structure of modifier (KH550, KH570and HTEOS). The contact angles of powders was measured using a modified capillary rise method, lipophilic hydrophilic ratio and the sessile drop method, based on the use of treated powder samples.Third, surfactants design and configuration of different properties oil-water dynamic interfacial tension, and investigate the oil-water interfacial tension influence oil recovery factor in different models of wetting. The experimental results showed that water drive recovery factor reduced with increasing of different models of wetting. With the reducing of the interfacial tension, the recovery ratio presented "S" type in different interfacial tension surfactant oil displacement system. And with the increased of the hydrophilic, the extent of recovery ratio increases with the reduction interfacial tension surfactant oil displacement system.Fourth, through the research, the author believed that:If the interfacial tension with the wettability of reservoir to match recovery efficiency arrived at a maximum, need not blindly pursuit ultra low value. For example, in hydrophobic porous medium, though oil water interfacial tension reached10-3mN/m magnitude, the increasing extent of recovery was only11%. But in lipophilic porous medium, the increasing extent of recovery was above12%, even though the oil water interfacial tension only reached10-3mN/m magnitude. |
