BOP is a conventional sealed wellhead equipment to prevent the blowout in oilfields. Its structure is simple with high pressure resistance and heavy weight. The conventional installation practice is moving BOP towards the wellhead by rigs and auxiliary pneumatic and hydraulic equipment as well as cranes, and then integrating them with rig traveling system and pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. However, the equipment can only move in one direction, which makes the joint process hard to control.To improve this process, the author of this dissertation comes up with a piece of more accurate transferring equipment for BOP installation. With this equipment, the lifting and jointing process can be secured. This innovative structure gets rid of the assembling process, and the work amount of several hours in the past can be done in just a few minutes. The clumsy BOPs can be accurately, safely and efficiently jointed with the casing by manual operation. The design concept formulates from hydraulic crane and vehicles. The operation procedure is that when lifting happens, the operating hydraulic pump provides hydraulic oil for hydraulic cylinder, and BOPs will be uplifted along the direction of brackets. When they reach the ultimate vertical dimension, the two sets of hydraulic cylinder are at their maximum volume. Vertical hydraulic cylinders keep the balance of the brackets while horizontal hydraulic cylinders provide oil and adjust the BOPs’position with the wellhead. After joint process completed, brackets are dismissed and settled to horizontal location. And the installation is completed.The design of this new transferring equipment involves the analysis on mechanical model, selection on the optimal solution and establishment of the hydraulic schematic diagram based on external load characteristics, working condition and requirement of transferring equipment as well as balance loop and synchronous loop. Calculation theories and design norms of technical parameter are formed on the analysis of the relationship among hydraulic driving system and the kinematics and mechanics features of the structure. Finally, the result from theoretical research and simulation software proved the functionality and rationality of the equipment. The equipment is of significance in reducing the cost of drilling and raising economic benefits.
