At present, domestic and foreign copper electrolyte purification mainly adopts the method of electro-deposition. But this process is of bad working condition, pollutes the environment seriously, and consumes a lot of energy. For a long time, the related personnel have devoted to all sorts of researches of new purification process. And the method of solvent extraction with the advantages of little energy consumption and emission is expected to become one of the new technology to replace the present electro-deposition method. In order to simplify the process of removing impurity use by solvent extraction and achieve a single extraction system and the purpose of removal of As, Sb, Bi, three kinds of impurities at the same time, this research has carried out the experimental study on synergistic extraction of TBP-N1923to remove As, Sb, Bi. In order to investigate the effect of TBP-N1923extraction system under the same conditions, we carried out the experimental study on TBP single extractant system for removal process of As on the basis of previous researches, and determined in single-stage the effect of N1923single extraction system for removal process of As, Sb, Bi.In the process experimental study of single extraction system to remove As by TBP, we measure and draw the extraction isotherm of As, and studied single factor conditions were influenced on As extraction, such as the extractant concentration, extraction time, water acidity, phase ratio, temperature. We studied the impact of acidity of anti-stripping agent, anti-stripping ratio, anti-stripping time on anti-stripping rate of As, and determined the optimum process conditions in TBP extraction of removing As are that organic phase composed of60%TBP+40%sulfonated kerosene, extraction ratio at3:1, and4minutes extraction time; we use water as anti-stripping agent, stripping phase ratio at2:1and anti-stripping time is4minutes, the single-stage extraction rate of As is30.64%, the allocation ratio is0.147, the anti-stripping rate is98.15%under these conditions. In the experimental study of TBP-N1923synergistic extraction, we has carried on the single stage and the cascade experiment separately. In the single stage extract experiment, we has inspected synergistic extraction system with the compose of organic, the acidity of water phase and so on, have effect on extraction rate of As, Sb, Bi and determine the optimum process conditions of synergistic extraction is organic phase composed of60%TBP+25%N1923+5%isooctanol+10%sulfonated kerosene, extraction ratio is3:1, and reaction time is4minutes, the single stage extraction of As, Sb, Bi is58.01%,53.49%and68.97%, the assignment ratio DAs is0.461, the assignment ratio DSh is0.383, the assignment ratio DBi is0.741. In the study of stripping process, we were stripped use the methods of step-by-step stripping, The first step is use water as stripping agent, stripping of As as a priority; The second step is use material A as complexing stripping agent which stripping, Sb, Bi. Each step of stripping were investigated in compared to the stripping, the stripping time on the effect of stripping. The optimum process conditions of stripping As in first step is that phase ratio is2:1and reaction time is4minute and single-stage stripping of As was53.61%. The optimum process conditions of stripping Sb, Bi in second step is that the concentration of stripping agent A is50g·L-1and H2SO4is1mol·L-1, stripping time is same as the first step. The single-stage stripping rates of Sb, Bi were52.83%and71.32%.We can see the test results what contrast to TBP extraction with TBP-N1923single-stage synergistic extraction. In the synergistic extraction system, the extraction of As is27.37percentage points higher than the single TBP system, the As stripping rate has dropped by44.54percent, which fully describes the system of TBP-N1923has a significant positive effect on arsenic which in the electrolyte by synergistic extraction (single N1923system for As extraction was only about8%). However, the system had little effect on synergistic extraction of Sb, Bi.We did cascade extraction experiment:three counter-current extraction, and two counter-current of stripping As, five-stage counter-current of stripping Sb, Bi. The extraction rate of As, Sb, Bi is81.03%,72.06%and72.41%; the stripping rate is86.85%,97.58%and99.89%.
