Pianqiao water injection development area in ChuanKou oil field, one of the typical low permeability reservoirs, is located in the eastern Ordos Basin. With intensed water injection, oil and water movement rules become more and more complex which lead to the decrease of the effect of water injection. In some way, the original development technology, guiding principle and measures can’t adapt to the need of water injection for oil production. It is necessary for analyze, research and discuss the new methods for oil stable production.The research shows that oil reservoir of Chang6, Triassic Yanchang Formation in Pianqiao water injection area belongs to the typical low permeability reservoirs. Oil bed of Chang6, Triassic Yanchang Formation in the area developed two groups of natural fracture with direction of EW and SN as well as artificial vertical fracture. In accordance with fracture developed, injection water of part oil wells are breakthrough in single direction which made water injection inefficient and recovery factor is seriously affected. Meanwhile, converted injection wells and infill well too many are the main reasons for the increasing of high water cut wells.A series of water injection development technology has been implemented for oil development to Chang6of Yanchang Formation. Many methods have been used for enhance water injection oil development, such as optimizing design of injection production parameters, increasing water injection intensity, increasing formation energy; adjusting injection production pattern and oil bed step by step, blocking high permeability zone and opening new channels for water flooding enhance waterflood swept area and oil displacement efficiency; adjusting water plugging measures and reasonable density well space.According to the water injection technology adjustment, many achievements have been got. Optimization design of injection-production parameters and reasonable water injection intensity are important for improving oil wells effect as soon as possible. The injection pattern of inverted nine-spot injection pattern can extend the period of water injection oil production and improve oil-production rate and recovery factor during the early development period. The well pattern adjustment is flexible during the late period. The implementation of adjusting formations and perforation has obvious improvement for interlamination imbalance pressure. Profile control technology can effectively blocking the zone of oil beds with high permeable and improve water sweep efficiency. Implement mechanical water plugging and chemical water plugging of oil wells can effectively restrain the premature flooding, delay the rise speed of water breakthrough in oil well. The results show that the control degree is high and development effect is improved obviously.
