With the continued development of the National Bureau cigarette flavoring strategic task, the independent flavor blending technology of cigarette factory has been developed rapidly, which shows increasing contributions for the development of the cigarette products. In recent years, natural flavors have been universally used as flavors and fragrances. It is difficult to analyze the natural flavors by instruments since the complexity of the natural flavors. In addition, the intellectual property protection leads to the open research approximate vacancy of the natural aromatic raw materials chemical identification. Therefore, it is imminent to study the analysis and the identification of chemical components of the cigarette flavoring materials. The quantitative analysis of the volatile components of the natural tobacco aromatic raw materials was studied. Firstly, the effects of the solvents and the column system on the analysis of the components of the natural tobacco flavors were studied, and the volatile components were analyzed comparatively using one and two dimensional gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results showed that the usage of the comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for the separation of volatile components is much better than the usage of the one dimensional gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.Secondly, the quantitative analysis of the volatile compounds in the natural flavor was carried out in using peak area normalization method, external standard method, single internal standard method and multiple internal standard methods. The results showed that, in the aspect of recovery and reproducibility, the best is the multiple internal standard quantitative methods, followed by a single internal, external standard method and the poor is the peak area normalization method. We also find that the usage of two dimensional multiple internal standard method can-do well in separatting one dimension overlapping compounds, and the quantitative results are closer to the actual content and have higher accuracy.Thirdly, the composition analysis of the natural perfume by solvent dilution injection, SPME and SBSE-TDU has been performed. First of all, the main influence factors on SPME and SBSE-TDU were optimized, which included extraction temperature, extraction time and desorption time. And in the optimized conditions, the volatile components of natural perfume were analyzed by using these two kinds of pretreatment.60kinds of natural flavor were analysed by solvent dilution injection, the results show that, solvent dilution injection is only applicable to samples without water, oil and other non-volatile material sample, such as natural essential oils, oil and the part of oleoresin; SBSE-TDU were suitable for the water soluble and alcohol soluble perfume; SPME were suitable for almost the volatile components of all kinds of complex matrix system, but the enrichment ability and stability should be improved.
