Chlorine dioxide is a kind of green disinfectant. Carcinogenic substances such as TMS will be not generated in the disinfection process, and its applications is very wide that can be not only applied water bleaching, disinfection, deodorization, etc., but also be applied to biocide for industrial circulating cooling water and to purify sewage and industrial waste water. What’s more, it can also be used in the textile and pulp bleaching. However, In China the industry of chlorine dioxide is still at a preliminary stage of development and has a big gap with foreign countries’. So we must accelerate the research and development of chlorine dioxide, and promote the application of chlorine dioxide in our country to meet the China’s domestic market demand.Through studying on activation conditions of chlorine dioxide, a kind of one pack system solid chlorine dioxide is preparation. When the kind of one pack system solid chlorine dioxide is during the process of reaction, the best temperature is 24℃, the best concentration is 80mg/L,the activation time is about 9h. A kind of one pack system solid chlorine dioxide was studied that gas evolution can be more than 10%, but also its activation methods were studied. According to comparison with the commercially available product, the effective content of product is higher4-5 percent than the effective content of the commercially available product. Its Commodity value is great. The kinetics of the formation reaction of chlorine dioxide by sodium chlorite disproportionate at acidic condition is investigated. The Stoichiometric numbers of the formation reaction of chlorine dioxide is determined by neutralization titration and continuous iodimetry. The reaction kinetic parameter is studied by using Spectrophotometer. The results show that the Stoichiometric numbers is found to be 5 CIO2-+4H+â†'4CIO2+CI-+2H2O,At water’s temperature of 298k and excess acid, the formation reaction of chlorine dioxide is first-order with respect to both chlorite ion and hydrogen ion, and the overall reaction is second-order. Activation energy of the reaction is 45.762kJ/mol.The reaction is exothermic reaction.Through the experiment of stability, stability index is far exceeds that of similar products on the market.
