| In the majority of tin mine we often used flotation for recycling fine-grained tin. As the tin mine resource development and utilization in our country, the characteristics of the tin mine are poor-graded, finely, mixed. That is to say it becomes increasingly important in studying on finely cassiterite flotation. To improve the cassiterite flotation recovery in the Chehe plant, the paper tried to find a kind of technology to handle the fine cassitreite ore based on the research of the cassiterite similar carrier flotation.In this paper, the core technology is carrier flotation, and at the back of carrier flotation is hydrophobic flocculation. During the processing of studying on finely cassiterite flotation, this thesis researched on cassiterite flotability firstly. According to experimentational results, Benzohydroxamic acid has good selectivity and collecting capability to cassiterite. Secondly, the paper unfolded research on influence factors, which belong to carrier flotation. Results indicated that, different grain grade cassiterite have different effects in the fine carrier flotation, besides, the carrier percentage, stirring time or intensity, metal ions and other conditions could effect flotation result by different level. Thirdly, the results of studying pure mineral test show that we can obtain fine cassiterite recovery85.34%under50%carrier whose side is between19to38micron, the concentration of Pb2+is20mg/L, the stirring speed2400r/min, stirring time30min. Lastly, on the base of pure mineral test, we can improve the fine cassiterite recovery15%in Chehe plant by utilizing the carrier flotation technology.Furthermore, the paper researches on carrier flotation mechanism by scanning electron microscopy and calculating of molecular force. The results of scanning electron microscopy show that the hydrophobic coarse grain cassiterit have an active effect on making the fine cassiterite flocculated. The results of calculating show that hydrophobic interaction is several times than the Edward force, the collision rate between fine and coarse particles is far greater than the fine-grained inter-particles’. Specially, the paper also research on cassiterite surface hydrophobic principle by combining the property on solution chemistry, infrared spectrum analysis and reagent on cassiterite surface adsorbed. The chemical adsorption of Benzohydroxamic acid made cassiterite surface hydrophobic. Pb2+can change the collector adsorption on cassiterite surface cause different results. |
