So，based on the achievement of laboratory research，do research on the pilot production technologyof UV ink-jet ink, has the extremely vital significance for promoting the industrialization UVink-jet ink.Use the formula of UV ink-jet ink which have got in the early study, do the research on thepilot production, prepare ink color paste by change grinding speed, grinding time, grindingmedium, feeding speed and pigment/binder，prepare and grind ink color paste，research thegrinding dispersion process of UV ink-jet ink；prepare UV ink-jet ink use color paste with gooddispersion，filter ink by change the filtration process and the diameter，material of milliporefilters，research the diameter，material of millipore filter and the filtration process influence onthe filtering effect. Change the viscosity and surface tension of ink by change the formula of ink,and printing, test the the roughness, blurriness, width, density and contrast of printing productlines, research the printability influence on the printing quality.The results indicate that: pigment/binder, grinding speed and time、the size of grindingbeads, feeding speed have a great effect on the dispersion of UV ink-jet ink. In the pilotproduction use the grinding dispersion process we have got, can get ink color paste with gooddispersion,95%of the particles size of ink paste is less than0.5μm. The diameter, material andstructure of millipore filter and filtration process have a great effect on the filtering effect of UVink-jet ink, using the determined best filtering conditions and process can obtain good filteringeffect, can control the particles size of ink efficiently. The surface tension of ink have a greateffect on the roughness of lines, on the contrast and density of lines the effect is weaker, and haslittle effect on the blurriness and width of lines; the viscosity of ink have a great effect on theroughness and blurriness of lines, have little effect on the width, contrast and density of lines.The ink produced according to the best formula in the pilot production, has good printingperformances, can reach the requirements of printing, and the printing quality of lines is similarto the imported ink’s.
