In recent years, the beautiful non-toxic, biocompatible excellent andcomprehensive performance (mechanical properties, wear resistance, etc.) all-ceramicrestorations become a hot research field of prosthodontics and direction of development.Medical nano-zirconia ceramics as the main object of study, carried out asystematic study of this new type of ceramic dental restorative material mechanicalproperties and friction and wear properties.Study of mechanical properties, phase transformation toughening mechanism ofceramic materials, Al2O3particles by adding different nano-ceramic powder preparationand bulk sintering, to better physical and mechanical properties of Y-TZP-basedceramics, in order to to improve the wear resistance of ceramics. And different contentof Al2O3particles of nano-zirconia ceramic mechanical properties (bending strength, fracture toughness, hardness, wear resistance, etc.) were compared to arrive at the beststate of nano zirconia medical ceramics. The article also made a preliminary study of nano-oxide zirconium powderpreparation and particle size in the ceramic sintering process changes, adding a certainamount of Y2O3to improve the stability of the crystal, and in the process, a moreuniform microstructure. In order to better simulate the friction and wear properties of dental restorativematerials in the oral environment, this thesis research, under the two conditions in theoil lubrication and artificial saliva lubrication and macro aspects of the frictioncoefficient, wear rate, wear resistance and wear The mechanism discussed. Studies haveshown that the wear surface fractal, microscopic evaluation of the resultingnano-zirconia ceramic materials, through the wear of the surface fractal dimension andthe wear rate increases with increasing load, showed that the nano-wear of zirconiaceramics performance has a close relationship with its surface characteristics.Discussion and analysis of experimental results and common dental restorativematerials performance comparison shows that the nano zirconia ceramic materials haveexcellent mechanical properties and wear resistance than other metals or ceramicmaterials in the field of dental restoration.
