Many networks, such as the computer networks and communication networks,are due to the failure of the network of communication lines or site, which led to thenetwork function reduced, or even the whole network failed in the real world. There-fore, the analysis of the existing network reliability and reliable network design haveimportant theory significance and application value.Network reliability research can be divided into the reliability analysis and reliabil-ity design (sometimes called network reliability comprehensive).Reliability analysisis to calculate network reliability caused by vertics failure or edges failure; the reliabil-ity design is to explore the design of what kind of network to make its reliability as highas possible, we assumed network vertics or edges according to a certain failure proba-bility. Reliability research have important guiding significance to a variety of networkanalysis and design; the research results can be used for local and remote network, alsocan be applied to network communications, but also can be used for tightly coupledmultiprocessor systems of different types of network reliability analysis and design.The networks are divided into the directed networks and undirected networks.This paper mainly studies the reliability of the directed networks in which edges failin separate and equal probability and vertics are always effective. The main researchcontents as follows:1.The reliability of networks of complete bipartite digraghs;2.The reliability of networks of complete multipartite digraghs;3.Bounds of the strongly connected reliability of bidirectional digraphs.
