On the west is located in China’s would-be goel basin the northwest edge, on higher ground, most of the region for the gobi desert, is typical of relying on oil exploration and development up city. In our country, the higher latitude in more than40℃high temperature appeared in the place where the weather is not much, karamay is one of them. In these areas, the main problem is temperature gap between day and night, rock weathering strong, and therefore to land type conversion speed up the frequency, land cover succession cycle shortens, the land type has diversified and heterogeneity, need to have targeted to develop the land use and protection. This papers to the north of karamay wuerhe area as the typical study area, and carry on the land type change and cause analysis remote sensing monitoring.Based on the remote sensing technology as the main means of the use of1978,2002and2010remote sensing image data, using the decision tree to the classification method of remote sensing data interpretation, obtain the land type variations, and analysis and study in1978,2002and2010, the land type change rule, and then discusses the study area is the main reason the land type change, and emphatically analyzes the influence of natural factors, separately from the altitude, temperature, precipitation and sandstorm weather these four aspects and the land type change the relevant analysis, concrete research conclusions are as follows:(1) by using the1978,2002and2010years of remote sensing image to land on the type of dynamic monitoring research. On the belong to typical gobi desert region, only the wind&water erosion of the land will account for over of the area of more than20%of the area of land area and sand is more trend of increase, this is mainly hills slope in the weathering and salinization of being under the function.(2) taking remote sensing technology as the main method, based on the decision tree classification method of remote sensing image interpretation. And analyzes the land type the reason of its changes.(3) lead to on the land type change on a number of factors, including the natural factors, the temperature in altitude, precipitation and dust weather most main. Through analysis and study of the region’s altitude on the influence of the change of the land type is not significant, but for the formation of land desertification land, provide conditions; Temperature, precipitation and dust weather to the land type of change has been of great correlation, with the rise of temperature, precipitation and the increase of the emergence of sand weather, forest, grass, and cultivated land area, the waters of the area, the area of land, the sand is increasing gradually, and the hills slope of area decrease gradually. In addition, the increase of population and the rapid development of economy led to the rapid expansion of construction land use acreage, human factors on the land type change effects also grows.
