Salinity of sea water is basic parameter of physical and chemicalcharacteristics. Kuroshio influences hydro-climatic conditions of the EastChina Sea by exchanging heart and salinity when it flows through theEast China Sea.So the research of salinity distribution of Kuroshio in theEast China Sea (ECS Kuroshio) is the base for revealing the influence ofKuroshio on East China Sea Circulation and the Climate of easternChina. This paper uses the salinity and temperature World Ocean Atlas2009issued by NOAA in2010and topography data issued by NGDC toanalyzing salinity monthly distribution of ECS Kuroshio as a whole fromthe entrance to the exit and its Effect Mechanism by ProgrammingTechnique for the Calculator Program of Numeric Analysis underMATLAB and Regression Analysis. The results show that:(1) Upper low-salinity layer has significant monthly changes, it canbe divided into four stages:1-3Months is level stratification weakenedand vertical mixing enhancement stage;4-6Months is levelstratification enhancement and vertical mixing weakened stage;7-9Months is halocline emergence-enhancement-weakened-disappearance stage;10-12Months is level stratificationdisappears and vertical mixing enhancement stage. Higher-salinitylayer has not significantly monthly changes; Deep High-salinity layerhas no monthly changes.(2) Salinity extremum of water layers in ESC Kuroshio has significantmonthly changes above150m deep: the salinity extremum is graduallyincreasing from the surface down every month, but along with thedepth increasing deviation value of the salinity extremum becomessmaller and smaller,150m water layers near the maximum; the salinityextremum becomes smaller and smaller along with the depth increasing under150m deep every month. the highest salinity of waterlayers in ESC Kuroshio are mainly present in the Southwest side ofIriomote Island, north side of Iriomote and Miyako Island, Northwest sideof Okinawa Islands and Amami Islands. the lowest salinity of water layersare mainly present in the East side of Taiwan, near the30°N,127°Ewater, Southwest side of Kyushu Island.(3) High-salt areas of ECS Kuroshio spread from eastern edge of ECSKuroshio to the middle part of ECS Kuroshio with the increase of thedepth above150m deep; high-salt areas range occupied of ECSKuroshio in every water layer are maximum extent in150m water layer;high-salt areas shrink from eastern edge of ECS Kuroshio to disappearunder150m deep.(4) In the sea area east of Taiwan, the vertical range of High-saltareas has significant monthly changes: the depth of upper boundary ofHigh-salt area is at90-150m underwater, the depth of lower boundary isat220-270m underwater, High-salt area spreads to24°N, so there is noHigh-salt area in the sea area Northeast of Taiwan. In the sea areaNorthwest of Sakishima-shoto,,the vertical range of High-salt areas hasthe most significant monthly changes: the depth of upper boundary ofHigh-salt area is at0-130m underwater, the depth of lower boundary isat180-230m underwater. In the sea area west of Okinawa-shoto andAmami-shoto: monthly changes of the depth of lower boundary is notobvious, the High-salt areas distribution along Ryukyu Islands. There arehigh salinity cores(>34.88) in150m deep on1、4、6、11months.(5) The Pacific Northwest water enters into ECS by Yonaguni-Ishigaki channel and Miyako-Okinawa channel at80-260munderwater. it enters into ECS by Okinawa-Amami-O-Shima channel at30-260m underwater. The Pacific Northwest water from Yonaguni-Ishigaki channel turn to northwest and north when it enter into ECS, ThePacific Northwest water from Miyako-Okinawa channel turn to northwest, north and west when it enter into ECS, The Pacific Northwestwater from Okinawa-Amami-O-Shima channel turn tonorthwest, northeast, north and west when it enter nto ECS.(6)Above200m deep, positively related to temperature and salinityof the Kuroshio region is mainly distributed near continental shelf, butnegatively Relevant regional is distributed in the sea area west ofRyukyu Islands; Under200m deep, the temperature and salinity of ECSKuroshio is mainly characterized by high positive and low positivecorrelation; the temperature and salinity is mainly characterized by highpositive in the sea area southwest of Kyushu and the northeast ofTaiwan island.
