The Research On The Duiwenti Before The Dynasty

In QiLiang period, Liu Xie’s<wen xin diao long-essays> had introduced the "Duiwenti", which is a literature form used by the ancient Chinese literati when in political disappointed to show the ego. This article aims to have a deep discussion of the "Duiwenti" before Tang Dynasty by researching the "Duiwenti" essays and will limit in the "Duiwenti" period which drawn by Liu Xie. This article is divided in5section:The introduction has definite the definition of "Duiwenti" as well as the scope of work, then it gives a brief introduction of the research about "Duiwenti" before the Tang Dynasty. In the Firt part of the main body of the article, we introduct the general situation of the "Duiwenti" s development in three stages:Pre-Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty and Weijin Dynasty. The literature forms in Pre-Qin Dynasty breed the "Duiwenti", and the "Duiwenti" developed fast and form its system in Han Dynasty, then it changed and grew in Weijin Dynasty. In the second part, we read to ask the thought connotation of "Duiwenti" essays. Some of the scribes sneered at the official circles while others expressed the wills of cultivating one’s morality and writings to get fame. In the third part, we focus on the analysis of the art characteristics of the "Duiwenti", which includes comparison, irony, debating, parallelism, analogy and so on. The conclusion part gives us a brief introduction of the evolution of the "Duiwneti" by the later ages.
