This paper starts from the glaze form language of ceramic mural, basing on the morphology and other theories. Meanwhile, the author also integrates a lot of related materials study and analyzes its form language. This paper begins from the unique artistic expression of glaze, combining a large number of ceramic mural works, both ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign. It aims at differentiating from other materials’ unique form language on the points of glaze surface, skin texture, and glazing color. The application of glaze can fully express the scientific beauty and art beauty of ceramic mural. Through the analysis and conclusion of various expression forms of ceramic mural, this thesis shows ceramic mural’ s aesthetic value about glaze form language, enriching and consummating the forms of artistic expression. In modern creation, the glaze can give play to its unique character of form language, expressing its native quality. In the process of ceramic mural creation, only perfectly combine the uniqueness, color, flexible skin texture with model, can we appropriately express the elegance and esthetic sentiment of the glaze so as to create better works. The application of the glaze form language about ceramic mural should explore new performance from the traditional art. When combining the traditional culture with art expression, the glaze form language of ceramic mural applies a great deal of new materials or technology to enrich the expression of the glaze, and characterizes glaze forms by modern art theories. The combination of the glaze and new forms of art expression will create unexpected art effect, enriching the art language of ceramic mural, strengthening the art effects, agreeing with the aesthetic taste of this age.This thesis divides into four parts:the first part analyses the source and character of the glaze, and defines the form language; the second part studies the surface, skin texture, and glazing color of the glaze; the third part analyses the ceramic mural expression in the glaze form language so as to show the various forms of the glaze’s morphological language, and express the wide field; the last part points out the problems of the glaze form language of ceramic mural, and discuss the application of the glaze form language by renewed views and comprehensive ways.
