From rich humanistic placenames and artificial buildings (including administrative place names, placenames),we can also explore and analyse the ancient culture, street culture,business culture and other cultural landscape in Hanoi place names. From the wayplaces are named we also could look over some of the Vietnam national socialculture and national psychology.Hanoi place name is an important part of Vietnam’s history and culture, theHanoi place name not only can enrich the content of research on Vietnamesetoponym, but also can further enrich the Vietnamese language and culture studies.
