Tang Xianzu was a famous dramatist and writer in the late Ming Dynasty whose drama "Linchuan Four Dreams" had gotten a great reputation and made Tang famous in the field of drama. People only appreciate his lyrics and dramas, but pay little attention to his other works. In fact, his letters alse have a unique charm.This article is divided into introduction, text and epilogue three parts.The introduction describes the development process of letter literature and the reason why letters flourish in Ming Dynasty, which leads to the research object of this article-Tang’s letters. In this part, the value of the topic, the research situation of Tang’s letters and the purport of this article are explained.The first chapter tries to explore the specific connotation and forming reasons of Tang’s prose concept and points out that Tang’s letter writing is the practice of his prose concept.The second chapter explains the emotional expression of Tang’s letters. Sensitive writers write emotional articles. The first quarter points out that sentient beings such as Tang can write so emotional letters combined with experiences of Tang. The second quarter describes the emotional expression of Tang’s letters.The third chapter analysis the beautiful form of Tang’s letters. The composition of Tang’s letters is rigorous and the language is beautiful. The first quarter analysis the composition from the perspective of the Eight-part Essay. The second quarter analysis the language from the perspective of the verse.The epilogue points out the important value and research significance of Tang’s letters by summing up the previous discussion.
