Abstract/Summary:
To study multiple deep significance to the image of women as asymbol, the image of women from the historical, social, political,power, gender, or artistic expression angle cut, which have beengiven endless sense and imagination. However, China’s Ming Dynasty and the Italian Renaissance are two different painting system, thereare many essential difference whether it is in the painting color,shape, view of art and drawing theme, The reason for this differenceis because different cultural, social background, religion, customsand painter caused by different thoughts and feelings.This paper first discussed by the image of women in the MingDynasty and the historical background of the Italian Renaissanceand real life to sort out, followed by the image of women in the MingDynasty and the Italian Renaissance painting from the point of viewof art history, to understand before painting differentcharacteristics, as well as the theme of the image of women in thepainting is important.
