The Study Of The Expressivity Problem Of Materials Thinking In Oil Painting

Based on the Sorting and understanding of modern ink painting, this paper analyzes what the oil painting can learn from it and how can they be boldly researched and innovated, thus analyzing the feasibility of in-depth development of oil painting.In order to realize this goal, firstly this paper comes to understand the characteristics and ideological connotations of urban ink painting by definning and analyzing its concepts. Secongly, this paper analyzes contemporary Chinese oil painting’s development background, development status and trends. Finally, there are some case studies of the references for the Chinese oil paintings in the subjects, forms, materials and aesthetic ideas aspects, aiming to find the the grafting point between the oil painting and urban ink painting. Combining with the authour’s own insights and experiences, this paper elaborates the references that can be used for oil paintings.
