When ShuTing and BeiDao who named “the Misty Poets” haveidentified their position in literary history, ShiZhi who was famous for hispoets in the sixties and seventies of the last century was seldomconcerned. When we read the poems from that period again, we couldfind that ShiZhi just like the peregrine falcons in the darkness. He hit theera’s large bell with his poems, and recorded a real era for us. Heabsorbed the unconstraint and warmth style from foreign poems, andinherited the plain and elegance style in traditional Chinese poems. Hispoems blend the unconstraint with the plain together, and break throughthe hedge of “Ode Poetry” in the special times. His poems inspire andguide the lost generation. However, ShiZhi was stuck in theschizophrenia, and he struggle against the fate for a long time. Today, wewill dissipate the past veils, and look the poet again in a relativelyobjective view. Maybe, there will be a new discovery.ShiZhi’s poems express the true temperament, and spread widelyamong young people. It opened the rise of“the Misty Poetry”. As a poet,he is faithful to his feelings. Meanwhile, he also wanted to blend into the trend of the times. ShiZhi, who struggled with reality and ideal, and gotinto the contradiction inevitably. Eventually, it resulted in hisschizophrenia. What is worth cherishing is that ShiZhi wasn’t broke downby the schizophrenia. His poems have not been stopped. The articleattempts to trace the track of his true heart by analyzing his poems. At thesame time, it will explore ShiZhi’s bumpy way as “the Spokesman ofthe Educated Youth” and find the enlightenment meaning in his poems,so that we will clarify his position that connects the past and futuredevelopment in the poetry history and literary history.
