Woman in America is a research report published by Economic ResearchService on the website of America Agriculture Department in March,2011.This reportwas conceived at the Office of Management and Budget to support the White HouseCouncil on Women and Girls. To facilitate agency decision-making andpriority-setting on the basis of firm evidence, this report assembles the Federalgovernment’s significant data and statistical resources to present a portrait of thewell-being of American women in several key areas including education, health, employment and income. Since it’s a government report, correctly dealing with thecultural difference and social environment has been a crucial task for the writer. Inorder to be loyal to the original text and satisfy the habit of target language, the writerchooses Skopos Theory. Under the guidance of Skopos Theory, the author finishesthis report.
