| Xiong Wenxin (1996) once pointed out that native languages have obvious effect on the acquisition of the Chinese ba-construction, which can be concluded that learners with different language background from different countries use the Chinese ba-construction differently and have different types of errors. This conclusion is looked as a hypothesis by this thesis.From HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University, this thesis selected252ba-construction sentences with errors by South Korea students and176ba-construction sentences with errors by Japanese students. Errors in the sentences are analyzed and classified in order to investigate how many sentences there are in every classification. The hypothesis was proved through the datum by the chi-square test.After analysis, classification, testing, this thesis gets the following conclusion:First, students in Korea and Japan have different native languages, but the types and distributions of their ba-construction errors are the same;Second, ba-construction errors from South Korea and Japanese students are prone to generalization and omission;Third, ba-construction errors in verbs and object complement from South Korea and Japanese students was higher, this conclusion confirms Cui Xiliang’s (1995) discovery:people would rather use object complement rather than adverbs in the ba-construction. |
